TASC International is a Trading Name of Education South East. Education South East (ESE) is an Education Consultancy based in Kent and covering the UK and beyond. We provide conferences, workshops, staff meetings, team meetings and individual support. We work with Local Authorities, clusters of schools, Learning Networks, individual schools, colleges and universities. We offer a range of services to schools in the maintained and independent sector and across all phases.

The Directors of 'TASC International' are Belle Wallace, Ken Jones and Andy Willmoth

Belle Wallace

Belle WallaceBelle Wallace is the inspiration behind the pioneering TASC framework, and has been an influential figure in studies of children’s thinking processes and cognitive development. As a director of TASC International, she is committed to re-addressing and perfecting the ways in which children are taught in the classroom, and to working with teaching staff in order to understand the needs of the individual child.

Belle has been a delegate to the World Council and has also served on the Executive Committee of the World Council for Gifted and Talented Children; she has been editor of Gifted Education International. (AB Academic Publishers) since 1981; and is immediate past President of NACE (National Association for Able Children in Education).

Her publications are many: most recently, she has published a series of 6 Problem-solving and Thinking Skills books extending topics taken from the National Curriculum Framework (UK) (published by NACE/Fulton).

Recently, Belle has been a made a Fellow of the Royal Society for the encouragement of Arts, Manufactures and Commerce in recognition of her service to education.

Ken Jones

Ken JonesKen is a National TASC Trainer and independent education consultant. Ken has worked as a Primary Excellence Project Consultant Head, Primary Strategy Consultant Leader, Advisory Headteacher, School Development Adviser and NPQH Mentor. He was a KS1 SATs Auditor and has experience of teaching from Year R to Year 6. During a long teaching career, Ken has been Head, Deputy, Key Stage Manager, Head of Department, Subject Leader and Class Teacher. He was seconded to a school in Special Measures and remained until the category was removed.

Additionally, Ken has provided consultancy in the Far East and has written for the British Council. He has a special interest in the Early Years Foundation Stage, KS1, Literacy and School Self Evaluation. He is a skilled and experienced trainer and facilitator, and was trained by the London Leadership Centre in coaching and mentoring. He is an AST assessor and has worked for the National College for School Leadership.

Andy Willmoth

Andy WillmothAndy is a National TASC Trainer and an independent education consultant. Having worked in the primary sector for many years, he became a consultant headteacher for Kent LEA, working with a geographical cluster of schools. His recent roles include working as a Consultant Leader for the Primary Leadership Programme, Tutor for the YGT Outreach Programme, Headteacher Induction Tutor, Leading from the Middle Facilitator and advisor for Kent LEA in Science and Mathematics.

Andrew is a facilitator, workshop leader and speaker for school and cluster events. He is a founding Director of Education South East; an education training company which delivers needs-led professional development to schools and clusters. He is interested in Appreciative Inquiry and communication and is a trained Mentor-coach.
